Watching and writing this post, I had to hit up Evil Conducts album and track of the same name like 5 times.
Eye for an eye is a pretty standard rom com. Seriously, it's called eye for an eye so what you would expect. Revenge! Violence! Revenge films, my favorite type of film that seems to be impossible to pull off well 95% of the time. This move props up that argument. You've got a dude who was wronged in the past. Now it's time for revenge! Well kinda. This would be most of our dad's extracting revenge which means, doing it poorly. It seems like there is a stronger movie under the hood if they would just get down in the mud and slog this thing out. Overall, kept my attention throughout.
Verdict: Decent movie with a few 'why are you doing that' moments which really takes you out of things. The ending feel apart when it tries to teach you a lesson. But we all know, there is no justice, there is JUST US.
