TLoUII was terrible across the board for me with boring game play leading the charge. GoT came out right after THoUII and I think there was a sense of relief in me believing there actually being a game I could play here. I'm glad to say that GoT is a blast to play.
Also, the revenge aspect of this game in hour 1 was better than all of TLoUII.
The easiest way to hit this game is to say its like a Asian Assassins Creed + The Witcher III. play. Lots to do, huge map, fun combat, and impressive scenery.
The island looks great so much so that I enjoy just riding around and looking at things. The combat is incredibly fun with the ability to match charms and armor to the style of the mission, or the style of your play. The story itself is great. Many of the side quests and missions are little stories within themselves that are incredibly well made.
The first 1/3 of the game I was enjoying things. The next 1/3 I got to really fall in with the characters, the island, and combat. The final act, I love this game.
Verdict: I loved playing this game and looked forward to exploring the island, seeing what was in store for the characters, and whoomping baddies each day during my play through. When it was over....sadness
