This move looks great.
I do not thing I have seen a movie that aesthetically creeps me out like this.
Set deep in a Thai forest, you can feel the isolation and hopelessness that it entails. The lighting is also top notch. During my viewing a paused the scene at least a dozen times to get immersed and creeped out by night shots light by torches or just a single light.
Anyways! We've got a Thai ghost story and it's good.
A women, may inherit a large house and brings her friend to a remote village to investigate the situation.
Remote village.
Not gonna end well.
The story is good, acting good, set good.
The major plot unveils and mystery unfold via ghostly flashbacks and you've got to be following along to have them stick. I feel like they could have done better in this are, which is my only criticism of the film.
Verdict: Give it a watch! This one is making me thing I need .5 in my scale. It's higher than a 4 but not a true 5. hmmmm
5 out of 5 boots!
