One Must Fall
Director: Antonio Pantoja
Released: October 2018
Starts out as a bit of a dark comedy then the vibe switches in the final act to something meaner. I generally liked every character they had casted - at least like them for the role they were cast. Except the villian. He's just lame.
The final act is just mean compared to the rest of the film and it's a weird fit. Almost like two movies got smashed together. The gore is weak up until the very end, then it hits unexpectedly based on the budget thus far. Overall I'm torn on what to think of the movie. It's a premise I have not seen thus far and it's done decently.
Verdict: Low budget but good for some mindless watching.
3 out of 5 boots!
