Lots of hype behind this movie bother from viewers and critics so I figured it had to be decent. In general, I'm a big fan of asian thrillers and horror so I had a bit of theory as to how this film would play out going into my watching.

A cast of unlikables that we find likable - check.

Slow burn where the pace of the move changes about 50% and 80% of the way through - check.

Sudden twist with an extremely unlikely support character - check.

Non-concise closing - check.

I can see how many people would be in love with the film. I thought it was a decent story, shot and acted well. I was hoping for a little more off the rails times but for most people, what they did is enough.

Verdict: Worth a watch even if just to follow the journey.
