The Four Agreements

Profound!!! Or is it....
In all seriousness it is a good read in that at the core - it has a great message that is told time and time again for centuries. It's a quick read as well.
The four agreements are:
Agreement 1: Be Impeccable With Your Word.
Agreement 2: Don't Take Anything Personally.
Agreement 3: Don't Make Assumptions.
Agreement 4: Always Do Your Best.
To apply each is a journey of your own self-discovery well beyond the content this book covers. I say this in knowing that for some of my friends that have read the book it's mind blowing. And for others it's a 120 page drag to get to the point they already know. I'm in the latter camp. I try to improve myself each day and this book is a subtle reminder to....do my best. *rimshot*
Verdict: Just read the four listed agreements and reflect (meditate) on them in your life. Skip the book.
