This popped up on shudder and I figured I would give it a watch. Good production values but for some reason I had the hardest time getting into the film. It took me five times to finally get into the film and then during the final act it took me three nights to make it through as I kept falling asleep. That is no way means this is a bad movie.
Rather, you’ll need to clear some time to watch and fully focus on the movie. Any thoughts kicking around in your brain are gonna distract you and then you end up in “what is happening??! Why would you do that?!?” mode.
At the core we’ve got a spooky ghost doing ghost-ie like things. There’s a film director hell bent on exploring an old film that is haunted for some reason. If you like this alot drop me a line and I’d be happy to rewatch this one.
Verdict: If you want to sit down and focus on this one with ample time in your life, go for it. For me, pass as there‘s so much other stuff to watch.
